Today Money is designed to work without an account, analytics, advertising, bank connection, or cloud database.

What is stored

Your balance, payday, bills, protected pots, and balance history are stored in IndexedDB inside this browser. A license token and its last verification result are stored in localStorage if you unlock Plus.

What leaves this device

Nothing from your budget is transmitted. When you buy or verify Plus, your browser contacts Sociobot’s billing API. Verification sends only the license token; it does not send budget data. Checkout is handled by Sociobot/Dodo as merchant of record under their own transaction privacy terms.

Exports and deletion

JSON, CSV, and encrypted backup files are created locally. You choose where they go. “Erase local plan” removes the budget from this browser; clearing site data does the same. License data can be removed by clearing this site’s browser storage.
